When you send email with Unsolve, we process your customers’ data for you. This agreement sets out how, in plain language.
Version 1.0, last updated: 12 October 2026
You, the store that uses Unsolve, are the controller. Unsolve (the sole proprietorship of Bas Otten), Palestinastraat 300, Heerlen, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 88806642, is the processor. This agreement is part of the agreement you accept when you start using Unsolve and applies as long as you use Unsolve.
We process personal data only to send your emails and show you what they did:
We only use this data to run Unsolve for you, never for our own purposes. If the law forces us to do something else with it, we tell you first, unless the law forbids that.
Everyone at Unsolve who can see your data has a duty of confidentiality. We protect the data with measures that fit the risk, such as encrypted connections (TLS), access only for the people who need it, two-step login for admin accounts and daily backups kept for 30 days.
We use a few other companies to run Unsolve. Right now that is FlexyNode in the Netherlands, for hosting. Before launch we add the provider that delivers your emails to this page. We give you 30 days notice before we add or replace one, and you may object.
If something goes wrong with your data, we tell you without undue delay and at the latest within 48 hours, with what we know, so you can meet your own duty to report.
We help you answer requests from people who want to see, correct or delete their data, and with data protection impact assessments where you need them.
You may check whether we keep to this agreement. We give you the information you need and allow audits by an independent auditor, once a year, at your own cost and with 30 days’ notice.
When you stop using Unsolve you can export your data. After 30 days we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Liability follows that agreement. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the District Court of Limburg (rechtbank Limburg).
